The service forms part of the regeneration and development unitand is committed to providing a professional and efficient service using officers with considerable experience in Building control and construction matters.
The District is divided into five geographical areas with a qualified officer dedicated to implementing the full range of building control duties in each.
They offer customers a flexible approach, staff availability, local knowledge, informal building control advice, speedy plans examinations and a fast response for site visits with same day inspections available if requested before 10.00 am.
